Re: The new manager thread
With all the injuries and terrible summer transfers bilic doesnt have much choice to change things, been let down massively by the board, but its no excuse that they have no heart or passion to give up like they did against city, that is unforgivable

so the manager makes substitutions tat often result in some players moving around? that's pretty much what every manager does. that is not a plan b either. i think ive seen him change formation maybe 3 times this season during a game. when we are getting beaten he has absolutely no clue how to stop the rot, no plan b whatsoever.

Bilic does change things around. Rarely the formation I agree but players certainly get moved around. I've see Antonio start on the RW in a front 3, move to CF and then RWB in one game....

In some games he has gone from a back 3 to a back 4 and put several forwards on. It is not right to say Bilic does not have a Plan B. He does and it isn't always very good but he does have a Plan B...

Didn't know there was a vacancy.

bilic very rarely changes things during a game, starting the following game with a different formation is not a plan b mate.

Re: The new manager thread
Like Bilic but if he is going to go they should do it now before window closes. Maybe Harry plus perhaps Trev to see the season through and allow time to sort permanent replacement.

Willtell 10:34 Tue Jan 10
Re: The new manager thread
That was my point Trevor. Bilic does have a Plan B. It's called 3 at the back or moving Antonio to RB or striker.

The criticism should be that he doesn't have a decent Plan B perhaps.....

Re: The new manager thread
The biggest criticism of Bilic is that he rarely has a plan B when things aren't going our way.

During a game Willtell ...

slow to react and make changes depending on Opponent tactics...Hull...Burnley 2 examples...many other...Stoke Swansea. last season...

Re: The new manager thread
Tex
Bilic's shortcomings are there to see but not having a Plan B is not one of them. he has for example, at various times, played 3 and 4 at the back.

Is that not a Plan B?

Re: The new manager thread
Agree with Sir Alf...

Bilic ...Serious Limitations...

Started showing it towards the end of last season...coukdnt adapt when opposing teams had nullified West Ham'sHam' s Plan A...

No Plan B...

And has been woeful in many management skills...

But of a,scruff on the sidelines too...

Looks like a homeless guy that's been given a West Ham suit...

Haha...

Re: The new manager thread
I think Bilic's goose is cooked. i dont agree however the output from sully & layydy brady " we dont understand why the same players who performed so well last year arent this season.." says it all

I dont think he'll make it past the end of january- they need to divert the blame away from their fuck ups

Sir Alf 12:56 Sun Jan 8
Re: The new manager thread
I think Bilic has shown serious limitations even though I like him as a person.

But changing managers is akin to the old "rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic" or "lipstick on the pig" with our owners. They ain't got the financial commitment and/or resources to back up their hyperbole.
